Arsenic CARe is an independent research group of world leading scientists that performs fundamental and applied research, primarily to understand arsenic dynamics in complex environmental settings. Our goal is to develop technologies and provide policy guidance for assessing, cleaning-up and preventing arsenic contamination of soil and water.
Additionally, our team examines hazardous impacts of some other potentially toxic elements on humans and environmental health, and develops innovative management and mitigation measures for a clean and safe environment.
In collaboration with the different national and international organizations that deal with contamination – including the environmental protection agency (EPA), NGOs, government organizations – our world-class researchers create solutions to real-world problems.
Our independence allows us to act as an honest broker of information and scientific knowledge especially on arsenic related contamination and health issues in Pakistan, and ensures that we understand points of view from the students, communities and different public and government sectors.
ArsenicCARe achieves these goals to accomplish the mission by engaging with leading environmental research groups and universities overseas, including in the USA, Australia, Korea, Germany, China, France and Egypt. Our international reach permits us to tap into the latest thinking globally and perform research in a wide range of environments.
“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world. Science is the highest personification of the nation because that nation will remain the first which carries the furthest the works of thought and intelligence.”
